8 oz. cream cheese (can use low fat)
2 1/2 T. mayonnaise (can use low fat)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 green onions, chopped fine
1 pkg. beef thin-sliced lunchmeat (Buddig- the small packages), finely chopped
chopped pecans, walnuts or almonds
Mix all but nuts in a medium bowl until well-combined. Spread chopped nuts on a plate (or leave them on the cutting board), and plop the cheese mixture on top, forming a ball the best that you can (it's soft and sticky). Roll in nuts, continuing to form into a ball as you roll. Place on a plate and refrigerate for a couple of hours for flavors to combine. Serve with crackers and enjoy!

YUM. I'm now a converted cheeseball lover and get requests for this recipe wherever I take it! Tip: I dump the mixed ingredients into a bowl lined with syran wrap and then gather up the wrap and shape into a ball. Then I drop the ball in the bowl filled with nuts and roll it around to cover. Easy on the clean-up! Disclaimer...one can get a little bummed after realizing she has alone eaten a block of cream cheese in a single sitting. Beware!
