5 tsp unsalted butter
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp ground chipolte powder or red pepper flakes, *optional depending on desired heat
1/4 tsp sugar
1 bunch broccoli (1-1 1/4 lbs) cut into florets
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with no stick cooking spray
2. In a large glass bowl melt butter in the microwave with the salt, cumin, chipolte, and sugar. Add broccoli and toss well. Place broccoli on the prepared baking sheet and bake 8-12 minutes, stirring occasionally watching to make sure it doesn't burn. Cook until tender and lightly browned.

*I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this recipe. I made it the other night and ate almost 2 full heads myself. I was a broccoli-eating maniac. Perhaps it was a pregnancy thing...but I'm guessing not. My kids and husband loved it. I only used a tiny pinch of red pepper flakes and it was perfect for us. I also figured roughly 1 tbsp of butter per head of broccoli when increasing the recipe. I'm sure I'll never make less than 2-3 heads at a time!!! Thanks Amy!

Honestly honestly, sometimes I make a whole head of broccoli for myself, for lunch. Broccoli and nothing else. It makes me happy too, Dana!
