Kerry's Nutmeg Muffins

These come together quickly and are delicious.


Kerry's Nutmeg Muffins

1 3/4 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg (or 1/4 tsp fresh grated)
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c sugar
1 egg
1/3 c veg oil
3/4 c milk or buttermilk

Mix dry ingredients.
Whisk together wet ingredients and add to dry;
mix until just combined.
Divide into a well-sprayed muffin tin.
Bake at 350 for 20-22 minutes.
Muffins will be slightly golden at the edges.
To keep a moist crumb don't over bake!

While still warm, dip muffin tops in melted butter
and then into cinnamon sugar.

Enjoy warm.

They make great minis too.
